Financing Canadian Buyers For U.S. Properties

by Admin on December 13, 2010

Canadian citizens now have an opportunity to finance their U.S. property purchases through the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). Associated Realty of the Americas (AREA), an international referral association in partnership with Atlas International, has made arrangements for its members to offer financing through RBC on U.S. property purchases. If this is of interest to you, I can provide you with an informative power point presentation, compliments of Ms. Johanna Zhou, Account Manager with RBC. For further details, please email me directly at rob.handley@atlasinternational.com . Traditionally, Canadian citizens have found it very difficult to receive financing through U.S. banks. In this regard, RBC provides a much needed avenue of support for Canadian citizens. Regards, J. Rob Handley rob.handley@atlasinternational.com 888-261-6770

Hi Rob,

Can you please send me a simulator for someone from Canada interested to make a purchase in Mexico.
I’m really curious to see the interest rate and what are the terms and conditions.

Gracias!

Marie,

The only information I have is for Canadians looking for financing for U.S. property purchases. I don’t know what programs they have for Mexico. Try Scotia Bank. They might have branches in Mexico. Either way, I’ll add you to our monthly newsletter that explains other programs out there.

Hi Rob,

Do you mind sending me the RBC presentation as well. I have a property in FLorida that I paid cash for that I may want to finance now.

Thanks

Rob,

Is this financing geared solely towards individuals who are looking to purchase, or is it also for companies/investors groups? I am part of group of investors, and we have incorporated a company, and the other shareholders are curious.

Thanks,

Rob

Rob,

This is a very good question. I don’t know the answer to it. My contact at RBC, Ms. Joanna Zhou, has her contact information on the last couple slides of the power point. She would definitely know the answer to your question. It’s very interesting you are part of an investment group. I’ll give you a call on Monday. I’d like to hear more about it.

Rob
